My children’s school was having a fundraiser.  I suggested that they make gel candles.  I have experience in making gel candles, they are inexpensive to make in bulk and you can personalize them.   I made several candles in different colors and fragrances.  Then I made some with all types of embeds.  Marbles are the cheapest, but I also added glitter and even some glass ornaments.  I took pictures of all of the candles, then we made an order form with the pictures on it.  The purchaser could pick their choice of candle.  When the candle sales were completed the school raised more money than they ever had on a fundraiser.  We have another one scheduled for later this year.
