There are many ways to learn German. I have been trying to learn this language almost 2 years in school, years which haven’t brought me anything except disappointment. Until I started discovering different strategies and methods which helped me start and learn more of the language within a month than within a whole year! Video Shows Of The Garden Walk

The charity garden walk is this Saturday, and I got the idea to take my camera along and shoot some video shows to put up on the society’s website. We’ll put up a link for people to contribute if they didn’t have a chance to do the actual walk, and it’ll also be a nice way for the people who volunteer their gardens to share them with friends and family who are out of town. That sort of recognition goes a long way toward keeping people involved year after year.

I still like Gary and Gail’s garden the best of all. Every year they come up with something new and special to push it right to the top. That’s just my personal pick, though. Everyone’s taste is different and all of the gardens are pretty incredible.

Djembe: To the Beat, To the Rhythm

Funny how drums evolve to different styles and designs from all over the globe. I guess there are many different kinds and I have dreamed of getting to play one of these musical instruments. One instrument that struck my attention was the djembe as I got to see how it looked and sounded in the famous story of Tarzan and the Apes. In this old movie, I saw how the African natives grouped themselves together to play their favorite beat through the djembe. Feasting started and everyone was merry-making. There was laughter and dancing and everyone was happy and having fun including my hero, Tarzan.
