The Temptations of Working from Home
Working from home has lots of temptations. Since you have unlimited access to the Internet with no supervision, you tend to do your online shopping, surfing, tweeting and all that social networking when you’re supposed to be working. And when it’s time to do go back to your actual work, the strains on your muscles start to kick in. Computer ergonomics is not only all about having the right ergonomic equipment or positioning them to favor your muscle movement. It is also getting the most rest when you can. By rest, I don’t mean doing extracurricular activities on the computer, but taking the time to stand up, walk around and stretch.
