Nowadays nearly all new builds are having integrated air conditioners prices installed, however for older properties it may be more cost effective to have either window or wall mounted units installed instead, particularly for brick built houses which can get very hot in the summer months. While not as energy-efficient as integrated systems, window units are fairly effective and work by swapping the hot air that is leaving through the window with the cool air that’s coming in. Wall mounted units can also be found and tend to cool a bigger area compared to window units that cool just the room that they are placed in.
