I Was Proud of Her
My mother and I were driving through town the other day, and she told me that she wanted to run into one of the shops. I asked her what she wanted to see, and she told me that she had put a down payment on a Penticton inground pool. I was shocked, and I did not know what to say to her. She told me that she had saved up the money over a long period of time, and had not told anyone about it because she didn’t want people to try and get at it. I was actually very proud of her.
