Overtime, Overtime and More Overtime
I have already clocked ten hours of overtime at work, and it is only Tuesday. Valentine’s Day season is by far the busiest time of the year for me. I work at a place that makes up gourmet gift baskets. We have very steady customers all year and then it seems like Valentine’s day rolls around and we triple our business. Right now, we are spending our days making up the baskets. In two weeks that will all change. We deliver the baskets to customers within a 15 mile radius. So, all the employees will be driving all over town making sure all the baskets are delivered safely.
