My Brother Got Parvo
I remember when my younger brother incurred the parvovirus last year. He looked healthy at first and I didn’t know that the virus could actually pose quite the threat and annoyance for us. From what I remember, my brother, infected with the parvovirus, only started exhibiting signs and symptoms incurred from the disease after about 6 to 7 days. The symptoms lasted for more or less about a week. parvo symptoms that my brother exhibited included red rashes in his face, arthritis like pain, and low grade fever. I recall his face having so many red spots he looked like he was slapped. Later on I discovered that the virus’s symptoms is also tagged the name erythema infectiosum or the slapped cheeks syndrome.
