In the late 1980s, Michael Jordan came out of nowhere wearing new Jordans and saved the Chicago Bulls from the cellar. They were on their way to being one of the most pathetic teams professional basketball had ever seen before he showed up. Once he did arrive, he led the team to six championships, and that’s with one retirement to play baseball in-between. Not many athletes can take a sports organization or a sneaker company to the next level like MJ did. He was one of the best the game will ever see. Since MJ’s departure from Chicago, the team has struggled to make the playoffs. They have been somewhat competitive, but they’re always waiting for the next MJ to show up. Unfortunately for Chicago fans, they might be waiting a very long time.
